Born in the 1800s, Laura first got her powers to shapeshift during her teenage years which she admits was a hard time for her.
Laura worked from for the Bureau of Normalcy from 1914-1949 as a recruiter. During this time she led the Sisterhood of Dada in secret with a group of friends.
Lauea grew colder due to the events of the great depression and world war 2 taking a toll on her. Her hands her tied when she was forced to give up her friends to the Bureau after keeping them safe for many years. This still wasn’t enough and was eventually kicked out.She then joined the Brotherhood of Evil and took on a task to travel to the future to destroy Niles Caulder.Laura suffered from amnesia which meant she forgot her past life and her mission for a while and was unaware she spent years with Rita.After unsuccessfully trying to take out the Doom Patrol she later joined them as part of her redemption for her wrongs.
Laura currently lives in the Doom Manner helping the Doom Patrol save the world and the future while trying to regain their trust espicially from Rita.
Laura is a Shapeshifter. She is able to transform into any person, animal or object. This also stops her ability to age.

Rita FarrLaura first met Rita in 1917 when she landed at the Bureau with no memory. They became the best of friends until Laura's hand were tied and was forced to turn her into the Bureau as a weapon along with their friends.Rita didn't forgive Laura for this or the death of Malcolm until recently. Their friendship is very deep and she is always willing to relive what they had.She loves Rita more than just a friend.
